Miki Eyeshadow Palette x

SO I recently bought this palette for when I do make-up with the bestie for this year's school production, "The Wedding Singer"

The palette has no matte colours, they are all semi-matte, and some are shimmer.
They aren't highly pigmented but perfect for if you want a toned down but colourful eye.

The shadows are a silky texture. They apply well, and look great on.
An 7 and a 1/2 out of 10 from me :)

It is definately added to my wish list. :)

Essence Eye Pencils xx

I had a little bit of a splurge with a whole $10 in Priceline with the bestie last week, and I picked up these two little cheapo's because well, I was busting for new eye pencils!

The top one is just a normal pencil.
It's a really nice brown and I actually use it to fill in my brows!
I really love this because it is a extremely soft pencil, but not to the point that the ends are snapping off :) I really love it. For a really cheap brand, this is one of the best pencils I have ever used!

This is the second pencil I brought. Slightly a little more expensive than the first, but so worth it.
It isn't a normal pencil, it winds up, and is soo much more softer and easier to use. Both pencils come in a range of colours but the softer ones are slightly more appealing. I love the fact that it's purple!

This is an amazing brand for pencils, so be sure to pick one up the next time you're at Priceline!

BYS Blush in "Pretty in Pink"

So this is a product I have already posted about before, but I'm re-posting because the photo's were previously REALLY dodgy.

I love the BYS Blushes, but I found that this particular blush was too light of a pink for me. Since I am More of a tan person, blushes that are more of a coral colour suite me.
This colour would be perfect for someone of fair skin!

I found this to be slightly too Talc ridden, but not to the point that it makes my cheeks feel tight.
I would use this for a drunken night out as the colour stays where it's meant to stay.
Overall I would give it a 7/10.

Rimmel London Renew & Lift Foundation x

I had originally brought this for my Mum :)
So my review is mainly from me testing it on the back of my hand, once on my face, and for the two months that my Mum has used it :)

So basically the product claims to help created a younger look to skin withing 12 days, which is what we had tested! When mum first used it she felt her skin "tighten" a little bit, and she felt that her skin glowed a little more as well.

When I first put it on the back of my hand, I also felt a little tightening as well!
The product smells really great, and Mum did notice a little bit of a difference after 12 days. I also notice that when I pushed on my Mum's cheeks on the twelfth day, it returned to normal much quicker than what it did before she started using Rimmel's Foundation. Mum has loved it and has rated it a 9/10

Hopefully this short review helps all you beautiful matured women out there
Lots of love!

Sportsgirl Get Cheeky Blush x

When I was in Bendigo in the first Holidays of 2012 I went shopping with my Grandma and Mum.
Not the ideal shopping partners, but well.. yeah.
I picked up a couple Sportsgirl Cosmetics for a try and well I loved the glosses, but didn't like the blush as much.

The blush feels really chalky, since the talc content is high. The colours don't really work well on my skin. They made me look "fake".

I wasn't very happy with this blush. It didn't sit right on my skin, and wore off quickly.

Rimmel London Blushes ! x

I got these from Coles yesterday for roughly $4.00 each! So I was quite happy with that!
I actually adore these blushes! They are big enough to have LOTS of applications from, but small enough for if you don't have much space in your Make-up Bag!
They don't feel heavy on the cheek, and they also don't have that dryness that makes your cheeks feel a bit stiff, and tight when you smile!

The colours are great, and you can use one, two or three at once, so they are perfect for if you want different looks, or if your going from day make-up to night make-up.

I love them, and I suggest you try these Blushes out! :)

Garnier BB Cream x

Over the past few weeks, I have started to notice a bit of a change in my skin.
I've always had Oily skin, but not to the point that my skin turns against me and has excessive break outs and my skin scars/blemishes after breakouts!

It's only been recently that my skin has been doing this, so I changed my morning routine and added in this little beauty by Garnier!

I wasn't 100% sure which colour to choose, as there was no tester, it came in a box, and even the bottle colour wasn't clear so that you could see the product. To be honest that really angered me, as I ended up having to do a little research (which didn't help) and I ended up purchasing two tones of it!

So these are the two that I ended up with:

The product is Non Comedogenic, which I love, and it's intention is to hydrate the skin, even out complexion, reduce sun spots and imperfections and boost the healthy glow! And the SPF 15 is an added bonus!

I found that the product really did reduce my blemishes, and it is soo light weight!
I don't wear a foundation to school anymore, just a BB cream with pressed powder on top to hold it in place, and I don't even have to moisturize after my morning cleanse!
On weekends I do wear foundation over the top, since I end up in photo's with friends and go out to parties etc.
I really loved this product. A massive 10/10 from me :)

Australis Brush-On Foundation xx

A few weeks ago now, I ran out of my CoverGirl foundation, and was on the hunt for something cheap  that will hold out until I had a bit extra money to purchase a new CoverGirl bottle.
Priceline in Hamilton was having a little cheapo on Foundations and stuff, and I picked up this Australis brush on Foundation for roughly $5.

End of story, I didn't like it. I hated the brush applicator, the foundation harmed my skin because it was a little grainy, and it is meerly impossible for me to clean the brush.
I can't really complain since it was only $5, but the product annoyed me a lot. Particularly the open tab, because I kept forgetting about it, and one time I squeezed so hard that I burst the actually tube.
Kinda funny now that I think of it, but still..
That was more my stupidity than the actual product! haha

Browtician Tweezers x

So at the very beginning of the holidays, I was a little down, so of course I went and brought myself a little treat from Priceline to cheer myself up!
I knew I was in need of new tweezers because well my dad ALWAYS flogs every new set that I buy! (don't worry, these babies are hidden from the thief!)

I found this new range called Browtician, and there range of tweezers are so cool!
They come in all shapes and sizes, and come with cute little cases that have a mirror background, so then you can touch up your brows on the go :)

I chose the one with the comb. But there is a fairly decent range from pointed, different angled tips, mini tweezers, ones with decorations, ones with brushes etc.

I adore their range, and the tweezers work so well!
I recommend them to everyone!

Just a few Youtube Video's.

So I chose to add this video in as it is a great video for demonstrating how to apply bronzer to the face, and how what blushes match in well with a nicely bronzed face.

I seriously fell in love with this song, ever since it has been on the new Neighbours ad!

And these last two songs have simply just been a favorite of mine for a while. I love them!
Hopefully you love these :)

My Favourite Mascara! x

So every woman I have ever met in my life, has had trouble finding the PERFECT mascara for themselves. But I have found mine! Which is why I'm so excited about telling you all.
I honestly have never come across a mascara as good as this, like ever!

I was really hesitant about trying this brand at first, as it's a really cheap looking range. But I got a tester tube of mascara on a magazine, and after trying it I fell in love. I used the tester tube for about a month, so I went and brought a real one, which I've had for about 2months now! (I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was real haha)

In most of my posts of make-up, I have used this mascara.
It gives a really nice full look to the lashes, without all the lashes clumping together!
The brush doesn't push the lashes together, which is why you get a really nice full look.

And my most fave thing of this, is that when you take the mascara off, it comes off looking like little black tubes of mascara and doesn't smudge on your face. Meaning no panda eyes! :)

I love it! Be sure to order one after you read this at:

And just like it says on their page, it seriously doesn't flake, and DOES capture each lash in the brush AND it does create a fuller longer look!

Here is another blogs review as well:

Hope you enjoyed my review!

My personal tips for caring for Oily Roots/Dry Ends.

Everyone has a different Hair type.
For me I have Oily hair, which is where Natural Oils build up quickly and leave hair looking feral.
For me as an oily hair sufferer, my hair can go from fresh and clean, to feral within a few hours after straightening. So I have slowly learnt how to prevent this!

So basically I'm in the cycle of washing my hair every second day!
I use Garnier Fructis, Oily Roots Dry Ends Shampoo and Condition. Which looks like this:

You can get this at the supermarket, and Priceline!
It's really good to massage the shampoo into the roots of your hair. If you dont get a good amount of bubbles or foam the first wash, then that indicates that you need two washes with the shampoo. SO don't stress if you don't get bubbles!
When you use your conditioner, only use it on the roots of your hair. You will only need one wash of this! Since there is already a lot of natural oils at the roots of the hair, you only need to condition the ends :)

Between washs, sometimes I may get a few oily patches, mainly around the part in my hair.
So it may be a good idea to have a dry shampoo handy. I would recommend Lee Stafford from Priceline, or this beauty Cedel.

To buy visit:

Simply, spray on the oily patch, leave for a couple mins and they brush out out of your hair!
There is also a can designed for dark hair :)

Hopefully these tips help!

My Tafe Day Tuesday! x

So yesterday was my TAFE day!
We had a little bit of fun in class, experimenting with colour :)
Oh I love colours!

I did make-up on my bestfriend, Up top!
I must say, I am pretty proud of my final outcome!

So let me explain!
First I did a nice, skin-toned matched base (foundation, concealer then pressed powder).
Be sure to add the concealer after the foundation, and don't put foundation on your lids!
Then I prepared the eye. Just with concealer and some pressed powder! Pretty basic, no primer as the colour will come off twice as fast! Trust me haha.
Then I did the beautiful eye make-up!
If your doing this, depending on the grab of the colour, you may like to use blot tissue so you don't get colour below the eye (where it's not supposed to be haha!)
I started with a medium matte-blue, and worked the colour softly throughout the crease and on the outer third of the lid. I took the colour a little higher that the crease closer to the brow but not all the way to the brow!!
Then I used a darker matte-blue and blended that into the outer part of the crease. Be sure to blend it thoroughly into the medium blue.
Then take a medium semi-matte green, and fill in the lid and the rest of the crease, leaving some room at the inner corner of the eye for some white! Make sure this blends in well with the blue, but be sure not to drag your blue back into the green, otherwise you wont get the same look as the photo's. Then add some semi-matte white to the inner corner, blending it into the green. and add a little more white to the inner corner so that you don't lose the strong white colour.
Finish the eye off with a smooth line of eyeliner, some false lashes, and a touch of colour to the brows, highlight if you need. Completly finish the look with a dusting of a browny/pink blush and a brown/nude gloss!

So have fun with this look! Try other colours and have fun.

Btw, Rhychelle has Fair Skin, and Hazel Eyes, so these specific colours are perfect

Who Loves Beach Hair!?

Blake Lively - Beach Hair !
One of my favorite looks at the moment is the beautiful beach hair!
I love leaving the beach with the smell of the salty water and beautiful rough curls!
But the depressing part is, that the only time I get this look is in Summer, when I can actually go to the beach! Makes me a tad bit depressed to be honest!

When taking a bit of a browse on Lee Stafford's Website I found a Sea Salt Spray!
I'm hopless when it comes to hair styling to be honest, I'm still learning. So when I found out that this product actually exists, I seriously ran around the room in joy!

Here is a little extra from Lee Stafford's site:
With its ProMineral̢㢠complex of Dead Sea salts and 26 minerals your hair will still feel soft to touch but with added bounce, definition and body to die for. Added sunflower extract helps to give moisture and shine to your hair and will also help to protect and repair against free radicals.

So I quickly did a hop hop skurrie down to priceline and picked this beauty up for $12.29 !
You can't purchase from Priceline's website but you can view the product here:

The product is amazing! I got the pretty beach look, but my hair wasn't all feral feeling!
I give this a 9.5/10!
I adore it! Hope this helps you out a little bit !

Two Of My Newbies

So while I was in Warni I got a few little things to spoil myself.
Here are two reviews on some things I brought.

Concealer is my best friend.
Hence why I get SOO frustrated when I have to buy the two types, and they NEVER match exactly. And I can also end up spending around $30 just for a good liquid concealer and a good stick concealer.
I haven't been able to afford much lately, which is why I looked for a good cheapy.
I was so surprised to find this little stick of joy at Kmart, because it has both stick and liquid in one!!!

The liquid isn't a heavy coverage, but isn't too light of coverage either. That suited my personal taste just fine as I use liquid around my eyes only. If it's too heavy, I just look strange... And if it's too light, I still have bags!!!

The stick concealer is also a very creamy stick. Good for covering up my pimples!
This would have to be my #1 Concealer Duo, that's under $10 !!
9.5/10 xx

This is my new handbag from Strandbags in Warni !
It is a bluebird handbag, which is my favorite brand for bags and purses !
I got it for $19 so it was an absolute bargain!
I love my new bag. :)
I suggest everyone to check out the Bluebird range on the Strandbags website!! :)

Wish List x

So today I have created a wish list of a few items I really want! (but unfortunately, I am broke atm so can't get any, awwww *sad face*)

I love working with the eyes. Eye Make-Up is probably what I love to do the best, and in my opinion, can make or break the look. Eye Make-Up has the abitily to change the character. Whether it's bruised and battered, to party girl. It can show the world what type of person you are.

I LOVE haveing big palette's filled with colours. The downfall to that is, they don't fit into a clutch on a wicked night out. (even if they did, I wouldn't take it out baha) So I mixed up my mini-wishlist with palette's and some smaller shadows.

This looks like a nice palette, which is why it has made it into the wishlist. It had 100 colours, including warm browns right up to the brights. I've never had a problem with e.l.f cosmetics, so I have no doubt in my mind that the product would be s**t ! The layout is cute, and a basic case. It would be a great palette for both blogger, artist and everyday woman/girl.

I chose this colour because it is a nice sweet version of a blue. Kiddie Pool has both sparkle and shimmer. Meaning that is is perfect if your a glitter barbie, or looking to try something other than a matte eyeshadow! I have been wearing blue on my eyes a lot lately. Which is also another reason it has made it into the Wish List!

Illamasqua is slowly becoming a favorited brand to me. Hence why it has made it into the wish list. I love the colours. The main reason it's here in my Wish List!

I love BH Cosmetics! I have been a fan for a while! BH Cosmetics has high pigmented colours, and they are so CHEAP but a great quality! This palette has 40 colours. All colours that may be worn on a typical night out on the town, hence the colours of the name "Party Girl" !
The case is a nice black, so it would mesh in well with my kit (most of my kit is black and white) which is why it is in my wishlist!

Hope you liked the preview of my wish list!

Miki Lip Gloss in Sparkle!

So this gloss is so cute. So this one is in Sparkle.
Unlike the Napoleon Perdis and Mirenesse Glosses that I have done in my previous posts, this is more of a transparent pink gloss. Perfect to wear alone or with a lipstick/pencil !
It has a bit of sparkle to it, which I must say so myself, makes a gloss much more appealing.
And the cool thing about it, is that is has two lights in the lid, for if the lighting isn't that great when you go to apply or touch up!
I love this!
10/10 x

Napoleon Perdis Luxe Lip Gloss

I've had this gloss since January now, and well it is a good gloss, but not one of my faves.
It smells fruity and yummy, but well.. It's a really heavy gloss.
I find that because it is such a thick gloss, it streaks during application.

I hate the wand in it as well. It makes it all to easy to have TOO much gloss because it picks up LOADS! I'm not joking either. If maybe the texture wasn't so gluggy and the wand was different. I would love it loads more. But for now it's just an 8/10 xx
